I still remember that fine, million dollar line nobody could deny, “Health is wealth”. So let’s talk about how to increase productivity by doing these simple exercises at home. This is a practical thing that I have done and experienced myself the effect of exercise on our health.

To increase productivity follow these 6 exercises daily

  1. Walking or Jogging
  2. Yoga
  3. Tai Chi
  4. Dancing
  5. Cycling
  6. Strength Training

As a result of doing these exercises, we become 200% more productive, and our analytical thinking improves. Thus, along with all the other benefits we get from daily exercise. Let’s dive into which exercises are important to increase productivity at work, in college, and at work from home.

Exercise can be an effective way to reduce stress and promote overall well-being. Here are a few exercises that are known to help alleviate stress and increase your production at workspace or let it be work from home. This apply to college students or working professionals.

Walking or Jogging: I have started running on a treadmill. I have kept a target of 3 km. Running on a treadmill for 3 kilometers burns around 200 calories. Engaging in a brisk walk or jog can help release endorphins, which are natural mood-boosting chemicals in the body. It also provides an opportunity to be in nature and clear your mind.

Yoga: Yoga combines physical movement, breathing exercises, and meditation, making it an excellent practice for stress reduction. It helps improve flexibility, strength, and balance while promoting relaxation and mindfulness. This result help in increase concentration and be more productive at any work.

Tai Chi: This ancient Chinese martial art form focuses on slow, deliberate movements, deep breathing, and mental concentration. It can help reduce stress, improve balance, and enhance overall well-being. I have not done it, but I am a regular jogger and yoga practice, both of which have benefited me. Trust me, try it for yourself for at least one month, then come back to this article and update your review.

Dancing: Oh my gosh, this is a childhood practice. However, now I do it with my kids. It is so relaxing and refreshing. Remember! Dancing is not only a fun and enjoyable activity but also a great stress reliever. Whether you take a dance class or simply dance at home to your favourite tunes, it can uplift your mood and provide a release for pent-up stress.

Cycling: Cycling is with me since my childhood. It is a low-impact exercise that can be done outdoors or indoors on a stationary bike. It helps improve cardiovascular fitness and releases endorphins, helping to reduce stress and boost your mood. I have done my graduation traveling to my colleges and still at work, i go by my bicycle.

Strength Training: Engaging in strength training exercises, such as weightlifting or bodyweight exercises, can help release tension in the body and provide a sense of empowerment. It also promotes better sleep and increases overall energy levels. I do not recommend it for everyone, it is risky and dangerous. Running, jogging, and yoga are the easiest and simplest ways to overcome stress and increase productivity at work, and I recommend them to office workers.

Remember, it’s important to choose exercises that you enjoy and that suit your fitness level. Aim for at least 30 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise most days of the week, but even short bursts of physical activity can have a positive impact on stress levels as well as increase productivity at work.

Therefore, always consult with a healthcare professional before starting a new exercise routine, especially if you have any underlying health conditions.
